How to Make a Simple Vegetarian Frittata

Who doesn't love a deliciously fresh frittata to start off their morning? I know I do, and this speedy vegetarian frittata recipe is sure to please!


In this basic frittata recipe, I show you the key few steps you should know to help you make a frittata. Knowing these simple few fundamentals, will help you to let your imagination go on a tour and create any variation of frittatas which you can think of.

Here I present a simple recipe with onions. spinach, pepper and tomatoes. You should also keep in mind that the shallowness and width of the vessel you are cooking in affects the cooking time. Just follow the same concepts though.. Make sure your toppings are cooked, sauté onions, eggs, stir until edges set and cook in the oven until set...

Now that you're all set, go ahead and prepare this in no time and enjoy this light and fresh frittata to give you your morning boost!

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven at 350 F.
  2. Sauté the ingredients for your topping and set aside.
  3. Heat some oil or butter in a pan and sauté onion until softened.
  4. In the meanwhile lightly whisk eggs with salt and pepper.
  5. Add in your toppings into the pan followed by the eggs.
  6. Continue stirring until edges start to set, then transfer pan into oven for 5-10 mins.
  7. Cut, serve and enjoy hot!
  • 1/4 Green pepper
  • 1/3 Beefsteak tomato
  • 4 T Onion
