Savoury Bacon and Cheese Omelette

Hey everyone! This savoury bacon and cheese omelette is simple to make yet really packs in a punch! I'm sure you're going to love this for an awesome breakfast when you're on the go! Don't let your busy mornings stop you from having a flavourful omelette!

Are you looking for a savoury but quick breakfast? Then this bacon and cheese omelette truly is the perfect choice to make for breakfast this morning! This omelette kicks your basic omelette up a notch by adding some delicious turkey bacon and some delicious sharp old cheddar cheese for melty and creamy goodness! You won't be disappointed if you give it a try!

In this recipe I used turkey bacon, but of course feel free to use any bacon of your choice. I'm a huge bacon lover so I would definitely recommend trying some traditional bacon or some spicy bacon. Also any cheese would be terrific, though I especially enjoyed the bold flavours of cheddar cheese!

Get ready for some bacon and cheese goodness all wrapped up in a fluffy omelette and enjoy!

  1. Cook the bacon as per package instructions.
  2. Cut the bacon into thin strips.
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add in the butter.
  5. As soon as the butter melts, pour in the eggs and make sure the eggs cover the entire surface of the pan.
  6. Put on a lid and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the eggs are cooked.
  7. Sprinkle the bacon onto the eggs. Add half of the cheese and fold the eggs in half.
  8. Add the remaining cheese on top of the eggs. Serve hot and enjoy :)
