Classic Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti Marinara

Hey everyone! This classic chicken parmesan with spaghetti marinara is going to be the most scrumptious chicken parmesan you've ever had!

This chicken parmesan recipe is definitely a go-to for me and I definitely can't get enough of it! I crave it almost all the time! When you watch the video, you'll see how easy it is to make a perfect restaurant-style chicken parmesan right at home. With a coating of breadcrumbs using simple yet powerful spices, delicious mozzarella and parmesan cheese, homemade marinara sauce paired with spaghetti, you're sure to have an Italian feast for dinner! Enjoy with a side of garlic bread!

  1. Preheat the oven 425 F.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towel. Then, butterfly the chicken breasts.
  3. Put the butterflied chicken breasts between two pieces of parchment paper and roll them out to make them thin. Put the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate plates. Season the breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and oregano.
  4. Dredge the chicken in the flour, then in the eggs, and then in the breadcrumbs, ensuring to shake off the excess throughout.
  5. Bring water to a boil and cook the pasta as per package directions.
  6. Heat a pan on medium heat and add in the oil. Cook the chicken on one side until brown, 3-4 minutes. Then repeat on the other side.
  7. Coat the cooked chicken with a few spoonfuls of marinara sauce, reserving some for the pasta. Add the mozzarella and parmesan cheese and cook in the oven until the cheese is bubbly. After about five minutes, turn on the broiler.
  8. Drain the pasta and toss in the remaining marinara sauce.
  9. Take the chicken out of the oven and coat with additional parmesan cheese. Serve with the pasta and enjoy :)
