Spicy Black Bean Pita Sandwich

Hey everyone! This spicy black pean pita sandwich is a lunch that you definitely need to prepare for a quick lunch that's nutritious and super delicious!

I recently threw together and it was super satisfying! I threw the mix in with homemade pita bread but of course feel free to use whatever pita bread you like! The mix is super quick to make and full of flavours, you'll be sure to love this as a healthy and fast lunch option!

  1. Heat a pan on medium heat. Add in the oil and add in the onion and sauté until the onions are soft.
  2. Add in the tomatoes, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cook until the tomatoes start to get mushy.
  3. Add in the beans and cook until everything is heated through .
  4. Cut the pita bread in half and fill it in with the bean and tomato mixture. Serve hot and enjoy :)
  • 1/2 Can black beans
  • 5-6 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 Small onion
  • 1/8 t Oregano
  • 1 T Olive oil
