Apple Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal

Hey everyone! These apple banana chocolate chip stove top oats are so easy to make and so delicious! These hot oats are the perfect option if you're looking for a healthy, quick and really tasty breakfast!

This is another simple variation of stovetop oats I made using apples and bananas and some cinnamon for an extra punch. While this was light and delicious, I want to caramelize the fruits next time for some more sweetness, as I found there wasn't quite enough for my taste! I'm sure you'll enjoy so let me know if you've tried this simple yet quick and delicious recipe out!

Get your fruits together and some chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth and get ready to make this speedy and nutritious breakfast in less than ten minutes. The simple flavours of the two fruits and the cinnamon really stand out in this oatmeal. Enjoy!

Instructions

  1. Put the oats in a pot and add milk. Let it come to a simmer and when it starts to thicken and reaches the consistency you like, turn off the heat and add vanilla extract.
  2. Transfer your oatmeal into a bowl. Add in the honey, slices of banana, slices of apple, cinnamon, and chocolate or chocolate chips. Serve hot and enjoy :)
