Chocolate Blueberry Smoothie Bowl with Chia Seeds

Hey everyone! This chocolate blueberry smoothie bowl with chia seeds recipe is going to become your go-to smoothie bowl!

The blueberries make this bowl such a lovely colour and make it very nutritionally-packed! Of course you know I'm a huge chocoholic so I did have to add my personal preference of chocolatey-ness to it by throwing in some chocolate protein powder and cocoa powder. I guarantee this will be just like eating some ice cream for breakfast! It's thick and super cold, perfect for a hot summer's day or just when you're craving a guilt-free snack! I really have a big sweet tooth so I top this smoothie bowl with some extra honey and chia seeds. Enjoy this amazingly simple dessert for breakfast!



Ingredients
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries 
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder 
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey 
  • 1/2 cup milk 
Instructions
  1. Mix the cocoa powder, protein, milk and blueberries into a blender, and blend until you reach a thick and smooth texture. 
  2. Top with chia seeds and honey and enjoy!
