Warm Peanut Butter Banana Healthy Oats | Breakfast Recipe

Hey everyone, here is a simple but delicious hot stovetop oats recipe! After making overnight oats for so long I finally wanted to have some hot oatmeal, and using quick cooking oats definitely helps save time on a busy morning before heading to work! This is simple and creamy and I'm sure you're gonna love it so keep reading to make the perfect creamy stovetop oats with simple toppings! 

Serves: 1 hungry person

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 banana
  • Honey to taste
  • 3-4 spoonfuls peanut butter
  • Chocolate or chocolate chips to taste
  1. Put the oats in a pot and add milk. Let it come to a simmer and when it starts to thicken and reaches the consistency you like, turn off the heat and add vanilla extract. 
  2. Transfer your oatmeal into a bowl. Add in the honey, slices of banana, peanut butter, chocolate or chocolate chips. Enjoy :)
