Bacon and Cheese Omelette | Breakfast Recipe

Hey everyone, are you looking for a savoury but quick breakfast? Then you've found the perfect recipe! This omelette kicks your basic omelette up a notch by adding some delicious turkey bacon and some delicious sharp old cheddar cheese for melty and creamy goodness! You won't be disappointed if you give it a try!

  • 2 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese 
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Cook the bacon as per package instructions. 
  2. Cut the bacon into thin strips. 
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. 
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add in the butter. 
  5. As soon as the butter melts, pour in the eggs and make sure the eggs cover the entire surface of the pan.
  6. Put on a lid and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the eggs are cooked. 
  7. Sprinkle the bacon onto the eggs. Add half of the cheese and fold the eggs in half. 
  8. Add the remaining cheese on top of the eggs.
