Chocolate M&M Pancakes | Breakfast Recipe

These are simple and delicious M&M pancakes that were definitely a hit! This brought back so many memories of enjoying M&Ms and I had a great time adding them to my pancakes for a nostalgic and indulgent meal. I made the pancake batter chocolate to go all-out with the chocolate goodness for this pancake, as I don't imagine M&Ms being paired with anything other than chocolate!


Wet Mix:
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder 
Dry Mix: 
  • 1 cup water or milk (I used water)
  • 3 tbsp honey 
  • Optional: egg 
To add in batter: 
  • M&Ms
  1. Preheat an oven to 200 F.
  2. Heat a pan on medium heat with some oil or butter.
  3. Pour 1/4 cup of your batter onto the pan. 
  4. Sprinkle the M&Ms on your pancake.
  5. When bubbles start to appear and the underside has become golden brown, flip the pancake. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 1-2 minutes. 
  6. Transfer your pancake onto a baking sheet and keep it warm in your oven. Repeat steps 3-6 for the remainder of your batter.
  7. Sprinkle some more M&Ms and your other favourite toppings such as maple syrup and bananas and serve warm. Enjoy!
